A Lake Como wedding celebration with time afloat
Choose the water-based part of your Lake Como wedding first: an arrival, portraits or time with family. Then coordinate the craft and landing so that it fits the celebration ashore.
A lake outing from the landing that suits you
Start with your village, your date and the people joining you. We will help connect the craft, landing and time on the lake, then prepare a price for the outing you have in mind.

Separate the water journey from the wedding venue
A couple's arrival at a villa is different from a reception cruise with guests. Explain who travels on each leg and whether the craft waits, returns or finishes at the destination. The operator should assess those arrangements before the journey becomes a fixed part of the ceremony schedule or the guest instructions.
Ask the venue and provider to confirm the landing together. A booking at a property does not automatically include use of its pontoon, and not every craft can use every shore connection. Any ceremony or legal wedding arrangements remain separate responsibilities; a yacht enquiry does not provide venue permission or establish the status of a ceremony.
Check the boarding details for formal clothing
Request photographs of the actual pier, step and guest seating. A dress, formal shoes and flowers can make an otherwise ordinary boarding movement less straightforward. Tell the organiser about the clothing and any assistance needs early, so the selected combination of craft and landing can be assessed calmly before the wedding day.
Confirm where bags, garment covers and personal items will be placed. On a compact launch, luggage and photographic equipment can quickly occupy space intended for guests. Include the photographer and any assistant in the passenger list, rather than treating them as additional people who can simply board alongside the couple.
Leave room for photographs and the lake
If portraits are the main purpose, share the intended style and the time available. The lake background, light and clothing preparation all affect the session. Ask the photographer and skipper to agree workable positions aboard; a desired photograph must fit safe movement and the captain's operating decisions for the conditions.
Keep the course modest when a shore ceremony or reception follows. The aim is to return with time to compose yourselves, not to fit a full sightseeing itinerary into a transfer window. A weather alternative should be discussed with the wedding organiser, including what happens if a particular water arrival cannot take place as planned.
Confirm suppliers and the complete scope
Flowers, refreshments and decorations need approval for the exact craft. Ask who brings them aboard, how they are secured and who clears them after the session. Do not assume a wedding-themed photograph means a styling package, photographer or catering is included; each supplier and service should appear in the agreed proposal.
Before confirming, review the craft, skipper, pier or venue landing, booked hours, passenger allowance and full price treatment. Align change and cancellation terms with the separate venue schedule. The initial enquiry can describe the occasion and priorities, but a model preference or a form submission is not confirmation of the boat or your wedding-day connections.
Before meeting by the lake
Can we arrive directly at our wedding villa?
Provide the exact venue and desired time. The operator and venue must agree landing access, craft suitability and guest arrangements before the arrival can be confirmed.
Can the yacht host the wedding ceremony?
Describe the intended element separately. Ceremony arrangements, permissions and legal status are not established by a charter enquiry and need coordination with the responsible wedding professionals.
Ask about your Lake Como date
Let us know your date, village or hotel and how many people are coming. Your contact details let us discuss a suitable lake outing and send its price.
A village, a date and the number joining you are a useful place to start.
